He recorded exclusively for RCA Victor from 1943 to 1987, releasing 22 albums and 147 singles. Some of his hits include "It's Impossible," "And I Love You So," and "For the Good Times". His first pop hit was "Long Ago and Far Away" in 1944, and his last was "Christmas Dreams" in 1974.
