Paul McCartney and Wings, often referred to simply as Wings, was a British-American rock band formed in 1971 by former Beatle Paul McCartney, his wife Linda McCartney, and guitarist Denny Laine. The band became one of the most successful acts of the 1970s, known for their eclectic style, hit singles, and extensive touring.
