Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons

The Four Seasons were one of the best-selling recording artists of the early and mid-1960s, with over 25 hits in five years, including “Sherry” (1962), “Big Girls Don’t Cry” (1962), “Walk Like a Man” (1963), “Rag Doll” (1964), and “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” (1975). Valli is known for his powerful lead falsetto voice.

Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is an American rock-and-roll band that was formed in 1960 in Newark, New Jersey. The band’s lead singer is Frankie Valli, whose real name is Francesco Stephen Castelluccio. The other original members of the band are Bob Gaudio on keyboards and tenor vocals, Tommy DeVito on lead guitar and baritone vocals, and Nick Massi on bass guitar and bass vocals. 

The band started out as The Four Lovers, but has been known as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons since 1970. Gaudio and Valli are the only remaining original members, and Valli is the only one who still tours.
