Simon is best known for his work as half of the duo Simon & Garfunkel, which he formed with his school friend Art Garfunkel in 1953. The duo rose to prominence in the 1960s and Simon has since released more than 60 albums, including Graceland, Seven Psalms, and Paul Simon. Simon has won 16 Grammy Awards, including three album of the Year Awards, and has been inducted into the rock and roll Hall of Fame twice. In 2006, Time magazine selected Simon as one of the “100 People Who Shaped the World”. 

Simon’s songs include “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, which is considered one of the greatest songs ever recorded.
